Regardless of the size of your event, our facilities are perfectly suited to your needs. From our 7,500-seat arena and intimate meeting rooms, to our full theatre and state-of-the-art recreation center, the facilities at Conferences & Catering are as diverse and flexible as you need them.
Consider the options and flexibility we offer:
Holloway Commons is a modern conference facility featuring ergonomic seating, internet access and spacious rooms which can host meetings of any size from 3 to 300 people. Each meeting room includes a full range of comprehensive audiovisual and internet access services:
- Wireless Internet access
- LCD projectors and screens
- Sound systems, microphones
- Telephones, TV/VCR/DVD units
- Flip chart/white boards
Huddleston Hall offers a spectacular ballroom with historical New England architecture, high ceilings, arched windows, stonework fireplaces and natural oak decor. Huddleston Hall can accommodate up to 200 people in either a dinner-style or theater-style arrangement. An expandable parquet floor is available.
On Campus Accommodations
With more than 1,000 rooms available, Conferences & Catering has a variety of on-campus accommodations. Choices range from budget-minded residence halls to spacious suites. Our five-story residence, Mills Hall, can accommodate up to 350 guests and includes amenities such as air-conditioning, shared baths within each suite, modern kitchen and laundry facilities and three lounges per floor. For your guests’ convenience, Mills Hall also includes internet and telephone connections and assistance from the Service Desk.
The New England Center Hotel, located within walking distance of downtown Durham and campus facilities, is a lovely, full-service hotel featuring 115 rooms with striking wooded views, access to the Whittemore Center recreation facility, complimentary high-speed wireless internet access and the award-winning Acorns Restaurant.
